DODA, Nov 2: A family of five, including a couple and their three children were rescued here today with minor injuries after their mud house collapsed.

Sources informed that the house of Shiv Kumar collapsed all of a sudden in village Dhousa in Bhalessa area, trapping him, his wife Mamta and their children—Neeraj, Dheeraj and Roovi Kumari, under the debris.
After the house collapse the neighbours acted swiftly and pulled out the trapped persons who suffered minor injuries.
“Soon after the incident a team of cops and civil officers reached the spot to take stock of the situation,” informed SP Bhaderwah, Vinod Sharma.
He further said that preliminary investigations indicate that roof logs of the mud house were weakened by the recent heavy rains which caused the collapse.
