BRO officials come to rescue

JAMMU, July 22: Chief Executive Councilor-cum-Chairman of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Leh Tashi Gyalson had a miraculous escape when his car fell into Zanskar river along NPD Road in Ladakh last night.
The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) officials working nearby immediately rushed to the spot and brought out the car.
The CEC along with others in the car had a narrow escape. They survived because of timely intervention of the BRO officials, the reports said.
Gyalson, a senior BJP leader in Ladakh, has expressed gratitude to the BRO officials for timely rescue.
