UDHAMPUR, July 10: Udhampur police today arrested a narcotic smuggler and recovered 600 grams of cannabis like substance from his possession.
The accused, identified as Ramesh Kumar, son of Kaka Ram of Mand, was apprehended by a patrolling party of Police Station Rehambal, led by SHO Nishant Gupta, under the supervision of Sahil Mahajan, DySP Hqrs Udhampur.
In this connection, a case FIR number 150/2021, under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Rehambal and further investigation is underway.
