Nandu Da Byah staged by NDKM

JAMMU Aug 10: Hillarious comedy play “Nandu Da Byah” was today performed under Friday Theatre by Nav Durga Kala Manch (NDKM) at its Performing Art Studio, Jammu.
The play full of gags was beautifully written by renowned writer of the State Rajneesh Gupta and very well executed and Directed by Aaditya Bhanu.
Today’s Play was based on the social theme of colleagues working in an office and wooing a female colleague only to find later that she was already married, was the core theme of ‘Nandu Da Byah’.
The Dogri play full of laughter sequences’ was a light-hearted rendition that suitably produced a working office environ of the contemporary settings where the colleagues often find themselves tangled in the tidbit anecdotes among themselves and land up in an embarrassing situation that creates a satirical humor in the end.
Same was the story of “Nandu Da Byah’ where the central character is often found in a quagmire to get married soon and in the process falls for one, later to realize she was already married and had two children.
Today’s performance was marked by the senior artists of NDKM which includes Aaditya Bhanu as Ashok, Tarun Sudershan Vasson as Nandu, Reetu Manhas as Nandu’s Mother and Sakshi Dogra as Sarla.
Lights were executed by Atul Sharma while music was handled by Dilshad Shazi who also did the presentation.
Next week, ‘No Complaint’, another comedy play would be presented by Nav Durga Kala Manch.
