REASI, Nov 3: Minister of State for Finance & Planning IT, CAPD Relief and Rehabilitation, Parliamentary Affairs, Tribal Affairs, Labour and Employ-ment, Ajay Nanda today kick started the macadamization work of double lane of Reasi-Anji Road.
District Development Com-missioner Reasi Ravinder Kumar and other officers were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister said that macadamization work of Reasi-Anji Road will be completed at an estimated cost of Rs 180 lakh under first phase and will fulfil the long pending demand of the people of the area. He added that road connectivity is imperative for holistic development of any area and the present regime is committed to provide improved basic amenities like road connectivity, electricity, schools, water, health care etc in all parts of the State .
Nanda issued on spot instructions to the XEn, PWD to ensure durability and improved quality of macadamization work besides completing the same in stipulated time frame.
