JAMMU, May 20: J&K BJP Minority Morcha president Ranjodh Singh Nalwa today concluded his two-day tour of the Pak shelling hit areas of Poonch, Mendhar and Surankote.
During his visit, Nalwa met the families who lost their loved ones and whose houses were damaged in the enemy action.
Accompanied by other Morcha leaders, he extensively toured Alah Peer, Seri Khwaja, Mehrote Gurdwara of several other localities and shared the grief of those affected.
During his interaction with the people, Nalwa assured them that he would take up their issues including their demand for providing a Government job to one member of the family, who had lost their loved ones in the Pak military action, with party high command.
He assured the affected border dwellers that the central Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the J&K administration would do everything for their rehabilitation and monetary support to carry out the repairs of their damaged houses.
Nalwa told the people that the Modi government was determined to put the last nail in the coffin of terrorism in J&K.
He also called upon them to become the ‘eyes’ & ‘ears’ of police and security forces in detecting infiltration attempts by the PoJK-based terrorists.
“As & when, you pick up the movement of suspects, you should immediately contact police & security forces,” he said.
The BJP leader was accompanied by Fareed Ahmad Fani, Gurdeep Singh, Bashir Ahmad, Azhar Manhas, Mehtaab Bukhari, Sanjay Kesar, Gulshan Naz, Mohammad Sharief and Javed Qureshi.
