Pays tribute to martyrs

JAMMU, Aug 10: In connection with week -long celebration of 79th Independence Day, BJP Minority Morcha led by its president, Ranjodh Singh Nalwa launched a cleanliness drive on Shaheedi Smaraks in Jammu from today.
The Morcha activists led by Nalwa started the drive from Shaheedi Smarak, Vinayak Bazar Jammu. They also hoisted Tricolour at the Smarak and paid glowing tribute to martyrs. Later they visited Bhagat Singh Chowk Jewel and launched the drive there besides hoisted the National Flag.
Speaking to party activists, Ranjodh Singh Nalwa said that martyrs sacrificed their lives for national unity and integrity and making our future secure.
He said nation owes a lot these martyrs and they will be remembered for centuries together.
Nalwa while recalling the sacrifices of freedom fighters said that we all have to dedicate ourselves for nation building so that the hard earned freedom is preserved.
He said BJP is holding UT wide programme in connection with celebration of Independence Day to instil the spirit of patriotism among the people.
He said for BJP nation is above all and party will never compromise on national interests. He urged the party men on the occasion to get inspired by the sacrifices of the martyrs and freedom fighters and rededicate themselves for the nation building and remain vigilant from the forces inimical to national interests.
The BJP activists have to stand like a rock against such forces who are trying to divide the country by playing in the hands of inimical forces. “You have to unmask such forces and defeat their designs once for all and work for building the India of PM Narendra Modi’s dreams whose vision is to make the country world leader by 2047’’.
Later, BJP Minority Morcha leaders and activists led by Nalwa also visited a Shaheedi Samarak, Kotli RS Pura and launched a cleanliness drive there too.
