NAGROTA , Dec 8: Bahujan Samaj Party State general secretary and candidate Nagrota Assembly constituency Rakesh Wazir while addressing public meetings at different parts of Nagrota Assembly Constituency including Karal, Kangrail, Kathar etc said that Nagrota would be made a Tourism Hub, by mainly focusing to tap all the tourism potentials of the Constituency, as its being very close to Katra Vaishnodevi and Jammu city.
He elaborating said that on the pattern of Shiv Khori Shrine which is only 80 Km from Katra but still with small efforts its Yatra was increased more than 33 folds from 60,000 Yatries a year to 20.00 Lac Yatries per year in just 10 years direvting out of one crore pilgrimage of Mata Vaishnodevi ji and in the same way all the famous pilgrim places in Nagrota Assembly Constituency adjoining Katra and Jammu can easily be brought to focus.
The revival of old traditional route of Vaishnodevi Ji through Bamyal, highlighting the old famous enroute temples like Devamai, Olimatta etc which pilgrims desire to visit again, Jhajjar Kotli tourist spot, Showa Mata, Mathwar, Baba Pher, Kol Kandoli temple, Surinsar etc spots and by this way the development of the area viz-a-viz employment to the youth of the area would be made.
He further said that employment to the every youth is his main point of focus and this is the only way by which we can save our youth from the bad habits and can provide the employment for livelihood to them.
The meetings among others were addressed by Gardhari Lal, Subash Thapa, Shiv Lal Dhigra, Devi Dass, Tara Mani and Bodh Raj.
