NABARD celebrates ‘Rajbhasha-fortnight’

JAMMU, Sept 14: Regional office, NABARD, Jammu, celebrated ‘Rajbhasha-fortnight’ on the occasion of ‘Hindi Divas’.
The celebrations began from September 3 and lasted today. On the start of fortnight, Chief General Manager, SC Rabra, appealed all the staff members to use Rajbhasha in their regular work.
On the occasion of ‘Hindi Samaroh’, Officer-in-Charge, Dr MK Dhingra emphasized that we should not only work in Hindi but make it a part of our day to day life. He released a brochure of ‘Centrally Sponsored Scheme’ in Hindi for the rural masses of the State.
For the promotion of Hindi, various competitions were organised and all the staff members took part actively. Dingra also awarded certificates and prizes to the staff members who participated in different Hindi competitions during the fortnight.
A Hindi Poetic-Goshti was also organised on the auspicious day in which prominent hindi poet of State namely Kamaljeet Chaudhari, Vijaya Thakur, Yogita Yadav, Anuradha Jasrotia, Sheikh Mohd Kalyan and Krishan Kumar Sharma recited their poems.
In his welcome address, Deputy General Manager, SS Bhatoa, emphasized that while celebrating ‘Hindi Divas’, we equally pay our regards the other regional languages of our motherland. He also read out the messages of Union Finance Minister and Union Home Minister of India.
While delivering vote of thanks, manager, Manoj Sharma said that work in Hindi should be encouraged.
