MVD Services in J&K

Sir,
The remarkable transformation of the Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) services in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir is a welcome step. The introduction of 54 faceless services has significantly reduced bureaucratic hurdles that have persisted for decades, making the lives of citizens easier.
This forward-thinking initiative has minimized the need for in-person visits, providing immense convenience to the residents who can now access services from their homes.
The UT of J&K has dispelled any doubts about the effectiveness of this technological transformation, becoming a frontrunner in offering online services. The digitization of administrative processes within the MVD is commendable, making it easier for citizens to submit applications and access necessary documentation without repetitive visits.
This is especially beneficial for those living in remote areas, eliminating prolonged waiting periods.
I applaud the commitment of the Chief Secretary and Government officials in achieving this transformative transition. I look forward to more improvements in the future, striving towards a corruption-free, paperless, and queue-less bureaucratic system, ultimately delivering services to the doorsteps of the citizenry.
