Muslimeen United FC defeats North End FC by 2-1

SRINAGAR, July 26: Muslimeen United Football Club trounced North End Football Club by 2 goals to 1 in the ongoing Annual League Football Tournament, being played at Synthetic Turf TRC, here today.
Two matches were played today of A-Division, wherein first match was played between North End FC and Muslimeen United FC which was won by Muslimeen United FC by 2 goals to 1.
As the match started, forwards of both the teams started attacking each other’s goalpost to seize an early initiative. Shahed of Muslimeen FC scored 1st goal in 17th minute. In the 30 minute, Muslimeen United FC was awarded a penalty kick for a gross offence by a defender. Hammad made no mistake in converting the penalty kick and doubled the lead for Muslimeen United FC.
The 2nd half was a highly entertaining match as defence lines of both the teams attacked each other’s goal post from both the flanks.
Trailing by two goals the young Turks of North End FC combined with his team and scored a goal in 55th minute of the game through Danish.
The 2nd match was played between Towheed AFC Anchar and Blossom FC. Both the teams played quality football and tried to dominate each other’s half. Both the teams got equal opportunities to score but missed the target. The first half ended with a goalless draw.
The 2nd half started with impressive passing and ball control and both the teams tried to penetrate the defence line but could not find the net. The 2nd half also ended with a goalless draw.
The tournament is being organised by Jammu and Kashmir Football Association in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council.
