UDHAMPUR, Oct 3: A musician accompanying marriage party was electrocuted when he accidently came in contact with an electric wire while sitting on rooftop of the minibus.
The mishap took place in Ramnagar and the deceased was identified as Bodh Raj (45), son of Nek Ram, resident of Ghordi.
Accompanying a marriage party, he was sitting on roof of minibus JK14H-5820, when he accidently came in contact with an electric wire and sustained severe electric shock. He was rushed to district Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Ramnagar Police has registered a case in this connection under section 281/106 BNS.
Meanwhile, a PDD daily wager (Lineman) sustained electric shock while repair some fault on an electric pole at village Satian in Ramnagar area.
According to the police, Sanjeev Kumar, son of Om Parkash, resident of village Satiian Ramnagar sustained electric shock and fell from pole while repairing some fault.
Locals rushed him Ramnagar Sub District Hospital where doctors referred him to District Hospital Udhampur after fiving first aid.
