Organizers said the festival was designed not only to showcase diverse musical talent but also to inspire both students and teachers.
“The aim was to send a clear message that youngsters remain strongly connected with music and that the tradition continues to thrive,” the organizers noted.
The festival was supported under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of Matrix Freight Systems Private Limited and featured several artists who captivated audiences with performances spanning classical, folk, and contemporary forms.
The initiative, they added, was equally about rekindling cultural pride and providing young learners exposure to accomplished musicians.
Renowned musician and composer Abhay Sopori, who carries forward the legacy of the illustrious Sopori family, described the event as deeply personal.
“After my father, this is the first time I am performing at an auditorium named after him, and I am grateful to the DIPR,” Sopori said.
Reflecting on the significance of the festival, he added that the aim was to inspire music students and broaden their vision.
“They must listen to accomplished musicians, as this will help in the development of their musical careers.”
