JAMMU, Apr 3: The Murti Sathapana of Lord Hanuman was performed at Shakti Ashram Rehari here today with religious fervour and enthusiasm on the eve of Hanuman Jayanti.
On the occasion a large number of people including senior leaders of VHP and Bajrang Dal were present.
The function was attended by VHP patron Dr Rama Kant Dubey, its vice president Karan Singh Charak, general secretary, Dr Sham Lal Gupta, Dr V K Gupta, Vijay Pahalwan, Rakesh Sharma, co-convener Bajrang Dal, Kartik Sudan and Rajesh Bhasin.
The Murti Sathapana was performed amidst the chanting of mantras by the activists of VHP and BD. On the occasion pooja -archana was also performed and prashad was distributed in the gathering.
