JAMMU, Dec 3: Senior BJP leader, Munish Sharma, today released the enchanting Dogri song “Oh Ranjhana”, sung by acclaimed Dogri singer, Manju Bala from Udhampur.
The lyrics of the song were written by Nirbhay Slathia, music by V. Kaith and video by Dhanraj Studio, it was directed by Ravi Sharma and produced by Raj Kumar.
Addressing the gathering, Munish Sharma said that Dogri music has always been the soul of the cultural identity of Jammu region. He emphasized the commitment of the BJP towards preserving regional languages, folk traditions, and promoting local artists who carry forward the legacy of Dogra heritage. He applauded Manju Bala for her melodious voice, dedication and contribution to Dogri music, adding that artists like her are the true cultural ambassadors of Jammu & Kashmir.
Sharma further highlighted that such initiatives not only uplift local talent but also inspire the younger generation to stay connected with their roots. “Our cultural heritage is our pride, and Dogri music deserves a global platform. BJP remains dedicated to supporting every effort that strengthens our cultural fabric,” he said.

She shared that “Oh Ranjhana” reflects the emotional depth and purity of Dogri folk music and is an attempt to bring traditional melodies closer to the youth.
