Munish calls on Dr Jitendra, stresses empowerment of youth

JAMMU, July 22: Jammu and Kashmir BJP senior leader and former State general secretary, Munish Sharma, today called on Union Minister of State in PMO with independent charge for Science and Technology and Earth Sciences and discussed developmental issues of youth and public importance requiring priority attention to the promoting scientific temper among youth for Viksit Bharat, encouraging start-ups, and under developed private sector in Jammu.
During the discussion Munish Sharma emphasized on the need for empowering educational institution in science and innovation, opening entrepreneur workshop, start-up incubation across sectors to enhance their employability opportunities. He stressed to facilitate the youth especially students for developing a scientific temper and skills. Need of the hour is updated them about the latest technological advancements in the different field of science bringing the new scientific advancements to the classroom and labs and empower them for Viksit Bharat. Along with this, he stressed on promoting AI literacy by incorporating Artificial Intelligence in various aspects of life including education and the workforce. A skilled workforce will benefit every industry and smart young professionals plays a pivotal role in realizing the vision of Viksit Bharat.
Dr Jitendra Singh asserted that role of young professionals in building a Vibrat India under Viksit Bharat is paramount. Dr. Jitendra Singh said the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) is committed to enhance the welfare of youth with the resources, opportunities and support they need to thrive. “Through their dynamism entrepreneurial spirit we can build a future where India stands as a beacon of progress at the global stage”. Youth of J&K have immense potential and they should come forward and tap into the benefits provided by the start-ups scheme. By harnessing their entrepreneurial spirit the young population can transform themselves into job creators rather than job seekers. He highlighted the ongoing efforts under PM Narendra Modi’s vision to make J&K youth at the forefront of Viksit Bharat ensuring every youth regardless of geography or background has an equal opportunity to contribute and develop Jammu and Kashmir to new heights.
