SAMBA, Mar 15: A magnificent Kabir Bhawan dedicated to the revered saint and spiritual philosopher Kabir was inaugurated today at Kabir Nagar, Bari Brahmana amid deep religious devotion and spiritual enthusiasm.
The sacred shrine was formally inaugurated by former minister Mula Ram, who attended the ceremony as the chief guest. The temple has been constructed through the dedication and commitment of Joginder Lal Bhagat, a retired Director, former president of the All J&K Sadguru Kabir Sabha and presently chairman of the Sabha.
The ceremony witnessed the presence of prominent members of the All J&K Sadguru Kabir Sabha, community leaders and a large gathering of devotees who assembled to celebrate the historic occasion and seek blessings.
Addressing the devotees, Mulla Ram said such spiritual centres serve as guiding lights for society by strengthening moral values and promoting harmony among people from all walks of life. Emphasizing that Sant Kabir’s message transcends barriers of caste, creed and religion, Mulla Ram expressed hope that the newly inaugurated temple would emerge as a centre of devotion and moral learning.
Speaking on the occasion, Joginder Lal Bhagat said the temple symbolizes collective faith and devotion and stands as a humble tribute to the eternal teachings of Sant Kabir.
Among others present were Janak Raj, Subash Bhagat, Tilak Raj, Bhushan Dogra and Narinder Bhagat, along with several prominent citizens and devotees who participated in the ceremony and offered prayers for peace and harmony.
