Mudslides spread on Upper Guddhar Road not removed in two months

UDHAMPUR, Oct 30: Former Councilor Priti Khajuria has expressed deep concern over the non-removal of mudslides from Upper Guddar Road in the Darsoo Guddar area, even after two months of the rainy season.
After visiting Darsoo Guddar and meeting with local residents, who raised their concern with her, Priti Khajuria called on DC Udhampur, Saloni Rai and apprised her of the condition of the PMGSY Road .
She explained that due to non-removal of the mudslides spread on Guddar road, local residents were facing difficulties in bringing fodder for their animals. If someone falls ill, they face difficulties in reaching the main road while Children are also forced to walk longer distances to reach school, she added.
Priti Khajuria urged DC Saloni Rai to take appropriate steps so that the residents can get relief as soon as possible. She also urged the local people to show solidarity and raise their voice for genuine rights until they get relief.
