JAMMU, Dec 16: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists here today staged a protest demonstration under the leadership of their president, Sunil Dimple.
The protesters were expressing resentment against J&K government for its failure to provide free 200 units of electricity, free drinking water and 12 free LPG cylinders as per poll promises.
Addressing the protesters, Dimple said that PM Modi should return Slal and Uri power projects to J&K.
He said that the J&K government led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has started charging advance payment of electricity tariff and is looting the poor families.
The MSJK leader said that they will start an agitation against JMC and PHE for selling drinking water tankers online to the poor people suffering due to the sacristy of drinking water in Jammu city.
Swarn Lal, Lahori Shah, Kala Singh, Vijay Virdi, Mohd Hassan, Deepak Kumar, Lohari Shah, Arun Verma and many others were also present in the protest.
