JAMMU, July 23: Activists of Mission Statehood J&K (MSJK) staged a protest demonstration under the leadership of their president, Sunil Dimple demanding Statehood restoration to J&K.
The protesters demanded that all the five MPs from J&K and PM Modi should bring a Bill in the ongoing Monsoon Session of Parliament to restore Statehood to J&K with special status.
Addressing the protesters Sunil Dimple said that there should be a debate in the Monsoon Session on the subject.
He claimed that BJP deprived J&K residents of their democratic rights and BJP MLAs never raised voice for the restoration of Statehood.
The MSJK leader demanded that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah should call a special Assembly session and debate on the delay in Statehood restoration to J&K with article 370.
Narinder Chowdhary, Sanjeev Kumar, Sunny, Happy, Ashok Kumar, Mohan Lal, Ashok Sharma, Sudesh Kumar, Vikas Kumar, Tarsem Lal, Joginder Singh and many others were also present in the protest demonstration.
