MSJK protests demanding Statehood restoration

JAMMU, Feb 9: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) workers here today staged a protest demonstration under the leadership of their president, Sunil Dimple demanding restoration of Statehood to J&K along with special status during the ongoing budget session of the Parliament.
The protesters threatened J&K shutdown if their demand is not met.
Addressing the protesters, Dimple claimed that they were in contact with all the political parties and other organization of Jammu, Kashmir, Peer Panjal and the erstwhile Doda district for their demand.
He urged the LG Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah to start Darbar Move practise from this April.
The MSJK leader appealed to the Chief Minister to provide free drinking water, free 200 units of electricity, 12 LPG cylinders and double ration supply from this March to the people of J&K.
He warned strong agitation if drinking water meters are installed in J&K.
Swarn Lal, Arun Verma, Vijay Virdi, Mohan Lal, Kala Singh, Vikas, Deepak, Babu Singh and many others were also present in the protest.
