JAMMU, Sept 11: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists here today staged a protest demonstration under the leadership of Sunil Dimple, MSJK president and expressed resentment against the poor water supply.
The protesters raised slogans against the PHE Department for the scarcity of drinking water in Jammu city for the last 15 days.
Addressing the protesters Dimple claimed that most of homes in Jammu city have no water for household chores and for performing vital rituals.
He said that protests, rallies and road blockades will be started from tomorrow in all parts of Jammu city till the authorities ensures proper water supply in the city.
The MSJK leader claimed that Jammu people were befooled on the name of Smart City projects.
Shashi Devi, Sheela Dogra, Champa Devi, Nisha Kumari, Geeta Devi, Bholi Devi, Neelam Kumari, Kasturi Lal, Surinder Bhala, Arjun Anand, Kuldeep Dogra, Rupesh Bhat, Sachin Soi, Papu Anand and many others were also present in the protest.
