JAMMU, Apr 3: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists along with owners of hotels and restaurants and others here today staged a protest demonstration against the hike in the prices of LPG commercial and domestic cylinders.
The protest was led by MSJK leader, Sunil Dimple who claimed that soaring prices of LPG has created shortages and small eateries like sweets shops, hotels, restaurant and tea stalls are facing problems.
He demanded rolling back of the prices of the domestic and commercial LPG cylinders and bringing them under GST.
Dimple further claimed that people are facing problems during online booking of LPG cylinders on mobiles as OTPs are not being generated.
He alleged that LPG cylinders are being black marketed for Rs. 1500 to 2000.
Those who were present in the protest were Sudhir Pradhan, Ajay, Sunny Aggarwal, Vipan, Mukesh, Ram Kumar Das, Rakesh Sharma, Vicky, Shafi Khan, Akbar Khan, Nazir and many others.
