MSJK demands Statehood restoration, restart of Darbar Move

JAMMU, Oct 1: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists here today under the leadership of their president, Sunil Dimple staged a protest demonstration demanding the restart of annual Darbar Move practise from November 2025 claiming that traders are suffering losses in the absence of Darbar Move.
Addressing the protesters, Dimple claimed that in the absence of Darbar Move, unemployment among youth working in big showrooms, malls, hotels and restaurants has increased.
He further demanded the restoration of Statehood to J&K and urged the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah to bring a bill in the Assembly to ban the sale of liquor in J&K.
The MSJK leader said that he will continue the struggle for the restoration of Statehood to J&K with special status and extended support to Ladakh people for their Statehood demand.
Prominent among protesters were Sudesh Kumar, Mohinder, Vikas, Mohan Lal, Sachin Soi, Sat Sharma, Rupesh Bhat, Anmol Anand, Sanjay Kumar and others.
