JAMMU, Jan 27: Master Sansar Chand Baru Memorial Charitable Trust (MSCBMCT) has launched singing classes for the people of all age groups and the programme officially began from Republic Day.
The initiative aims to promote music, culture and creative expression by offering structured vocal training along with practical exposure to live instruments.
To mark the launch of the classes, a patriotic song titled ‘Hamara Vatan’ has been introduced. The song has been sung by Pooja Lalhotra, Mahi Sharma, Kamini Sharma and Vasuki Kerni. The music and lyrics were composed by Parvinder Singh, who has also contributed on the harmonium. Instrumental support has been provided by Rohit Kalotra on flute and Ashish Gill on Dholak.
Speaking on the occasion, Anuradha Rishi, president of MSCBMCT and daughter of Master Sansar Chand Baru, said that music is a universal medium that connects people beyond age and background.
She further informed that anyone interested in joining the singing classes or seeking more details may contact her.
A handout stated that the Trust plans to introduce more cultural and educational programmes in future.
