Holds protest, torches Pak effigy

JAMMU, May 12: Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) today said that entire society is with our valiant Armed forces and leadership of the country and MRM extends full support to both Army and the Government and it has launched a nationwide movement in this regard.
Talking to reporters here, today the national convener of the Movement, Abu Bakr Naqvi along with Romesh Khajuria, Member National Working Committee , Gau Parkost MRM and former Chairman Wool and Woolens Export Promotion Council and CEPC Ministry of Textiles GoI said that they have started Bharat Yatra from Jaipur Rajasthan and covering various states they are leaving for Srinagar this afternoon.
After reaching Srinagar they will visit Bisaran in Pahalgam where 26 tourists were gunned down by the Pakistani terrorists on April 22. They will hold a symbolic protest there against the Pakistan and terrorists, they added.
Abu Bakr Naqvi said that they will also make a demand for construction of memorial at Bisaran Pahalgam in honour of 26 tourists who attained martyrdom there on April 22.
Romesh Khajuria also demanded construction of Hall of Fame in honour of brave soldiers of Indian Army, Air Force and Navy who demolished Pakistani camps and air base during Operation Sindoor.
Naqvi said “In case Pakistan does not relent and continues its terror attacks on India our army will totally demolish Pakistan and its air base’’.
Romesh Khajuria while justifying India’s decision on ceasefire said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi conveyed a message to entire world that India wants peace. He said but the scrapping of Indus Water Treaty will continue.
He said the Kashmir is an integral part of India and only talks will be held on PoJK which is under forcible occupation of Pakistan. He said Government of India has categorically said that in case Pakistan does no mend its ways and continues terror attacks it will be treated as an act of war.
Earlier MRM activists held a demonstration at Dogra Chowk here and torched effigy of Pakistan for its involvement in cross border terrorism. The demonstrators with Indian Tricolours in their hands were chanting Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Vande Matram. They also shouted slogans against Pakistan and its Government.
