MP Supriya Sule selected for ‘Consistent Effective Contribution to Parliamentary Democracy’ Award

PUNE, May 18: NCP (SP) MP Supriya Sule has been selected for the ‘Consistent Effective Contribution to Parliamentary Democracy’ award given by ‘Prime Point Foundation’, Chennai.

She will be given this award for her consistent excellent performance in Parliament and for the issues of the citizens of her constituency, from local administration to the central government, informed Srinivasan of ‘Prime Point Foundation’.

Sule has shared the press releases, which stated that Srinivasan said that this award is being given to MP Sule for her consistent best performance in Parliament, including the current 18th Lok Sabha.

Sule’s attendance in the current Lok Sabha so far is 99 percent and it is 87 percent at the national and state levels.  MP Sule has asked as many as 113 questions while participating in a total of 47 parliamentary debates. The percentage of questions asked by her in the debates is 47 percent.

This is her achievement in just one year since the current 18th Lok Sabha began, and she has previously achieved similar excellent performance in the 15th, 16th and 17th Lok Sabha.
