JAMMU, Nov 29: A delegation of Movement Kalki here today met Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu, Joginder Singh and submitted two memorandums containing demands.
The first memorandum raised concerns over a false case filed by the Police against a journalist Deepak Singh. The delegation members said that Deepak Singh was covering a protest when he and several protesters were falsely implicated in a fabricated case but ultimately the Court gave them relief.
They demanded compensation for the mental and social harm caused to Deepak Singh due to the false case.
In second memorandum the delegation expressed concern over the rising cases of love Jihad and crime in Jammu.
The SSP assured the delegation that these issues would be thoroughly investigated.
The delegation included Advocate Someshwar Kohli, Member Legal Advisory Board; Vikram Mahajan, Board Member; Saurav Sharma, Sanjay Dubey, Core Committee Member, Sukhdev Singh, Baba Khandeshwari, Suresh Kumar, Mohit Sharma and others.
