JAMMU, July 29: All J&K Movement for Peace and Justice today held a protest demonstration and expressed its solidarity towards Anna Hazare crusade demanding powerful Jan Lokpal Bill to curb the prevailing corruption at top political and administrative levels.
Carrying placards, number of citizens assembled outside Press Club and raised slogans against the Central Government.
Addressing the gathering, members of the movement criticized the adamancy of Congress led UPA Government at the Centre for its non seriousness towards eradication of corruption and its unwillingness to pass a powerful Jan Lokpal Bill.
“All main political parties including UPA components at Center instead of a serious approach towards eradication of corruption seem united to sabotage the movement initiated by Anna Hazare and his team members”, they alleged.
They appealed the masses to join the crusade against the corruption led by Anna Hazare for a peaceful and respectable survival and prosperous life of coming generations.
Among others present were KK Rao, Deep Singh, Gurtaj Singh, GS Charak, BL Pandita, SN Sapru, Om Ral Bhal, RL Raina, Ranjeet Singh. Avinash, Deepak Sharma, Lalit Jamwal, etc.
