POONCH, Feb 7: A young motorcyclist was critically injured when his bike was hit by an Army vehicle near bus stand Mandi, here today.
The injured has been shifted to GMC Jammu after initial treatment at the local hospital. He has been identified as Anayat Hussain, son of Mohd Akram, resident of Arai village in Tehsil Mandi.
Official sources said that an Army vehicle and the motorcycle were moving in the same direction when the accident took place. The injured was initially taken to SDH Mandi from where he was shifted to District Hospital Poonch and then referred to GMC Jammu as his both legs had severe injuries.
