KATHUA, Nov 7: A motorcyclist was killed when a speeding truck bearing number PV 0 2F9707 hit his bike in front of Deputy Commissioner’s Office Kathua today.
He has been identified as Neeraj Kumar, son of Amar Nath of village Phlot Kathua. The motorcyclist was on his way from Kathua town to his home when he was hit by the truck.
The truck driver fled from the spot after 10 minutes of the accident as no body took the notice of the accident including the security men deployed in mini Secretariat Kathua. The ill fated motorcyclist breathed last on the spot as no body even bothered to shift him to hospital. A Police Naka which was established on the particular spot earlier was also lifted recently.
