RAMBAN, May 17: A motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a tipper near Champa area of Batote, here today.
As per police sources, a tipper bearing registration number JK02CG-0131 hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK02BA9611 coming from opposite direction, resulting into injuries to the motorcyclist.
The profusely bleeding victim was rushed to the CHC Batote, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
The deceased was identified as Sanjeet Singh (26), son of Daleep Singh, a resident of Champa Batote District Ramban.
A case under FIR Number 48/2021 under Sections 279 and 304-A IPC has been registered at Police Station Batote and investigation started.
