SAMBA, Sept 3: A motorcyclist was injured after hit by a car at Basantar bridge near here, today.
According to police, the mishap occurred at Jammu -Pathankot National Highway at Basantar bridge Samba, when a motorcycle bearing Registration Number JK21B 5948 was going towards Jammu side, suddenly a speedy car bearing Registration Number DL8C AF 9580 hit it as a result the motorcyclist got injured and brought to District Hospital Samba for treatment, where the doctors gave him first aid and referred to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for specialized treatment.
The injured has been identified as Ram Lal, son of Chua Ram, resident of Pangwal area of Samba.
In this regard police has taken cognizance of the matter and started further investigations.
