DODA, Mar 28: Doda Police have swiftly solved a motorcycle theft case, arresting the accused and recovering the stolen vehicle within six hours of the complaint.
According to reports, Mohd Asraf Parry, a resident of Doda, lodged a complaint at Police Station Doda stating that his Royal Enfield motorcycle (JK06A-8915) was stolen from Mochan Madrasa on the evening of March 27.
Acting promptly, police registered FIR Number 69/2026 under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. On the directions of SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta, a team led by the SHO launched an investigation and successfully traced the vehicle within hours.
The accused, identified as Tayeb Ullah of Dhandal, Kastigarh, has been apprehended. Further investigation is underway.
