SAMBA, May 5: A motorcycle rider was killed in road mishap after his bike skidded near Bansi Morh, Ghagwal in district Samba today. According to the report, the mishap took place at Jammu -Pathankot National Highway near Ghagwal this afternoon when a motorcycle bearing Registration Number PB17AP – 2214 which was on its way from Madoon towards Ghagwal, reached near Bansi Morh suddenly skidded off the road as a result the motorcyclist received head injuries. He was brought to District Hospital, Samba for treatment but where doctors declared him as brought dead and the body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary room of district hospital Samba for autopsy. The deceased has been identified as Raman 22, son of Battan Lal resident of Atari Somenath at present Khour Salarian. In this regard police has taken cognizance the matter and started further investigations.
