JAMMU, Mar 9: A motivational session was organized at Jammu Airport in which Captain Bana Singh, Param veer Chakra awardee, the highest gallantry award winner took the motivational session.
Captain Bana Singh shared his experiences conquering the highest peak in Siachin glacier during 1987 Operation Rajiv, which is now named as Bana Post. He motivated the men to stay dedicated towards one’s duty even in presence of all kind of difficulties.
He emphasized on proper planning by commanders, proper execution by subordinates showing grit and courage in odd conditions. The step by step story narrated by him in a very humble and lucid manners kept the men connected to him. It appeared that he created live scene by narrating his story.
The CISF personnel felt their morals high by seeing the PVC winner among them. They took photographs with him.
He planted a sapling in Unit line campus.
Gurjeet Singh, Commandant CISF delivered vote of thanks and expressed his gratitude to Capt. Bana Singh for taking the session.
