JAMMU, Dec 17: Prominent Kashmiri Pandit leader, vice president, State BJP and a business tycoon, Moti Kaul was elected as new President of Hindu Educ-ation Society Kashmir (HESK) in place of BL Razdan, the elections of which were held here, today.
Dr Satish Bhan was elected as new general secretary , while S K Raina will be new Member (Finance).
AK Raina, former Director Education Jammu and prominent educationists of the State has been elected un- opposed as Member ( Education) of the society.
Five Executive Members of HESK have been elected which includes Ashwani Kumar, Prof Sarita Raina, Prof BL Kacharoo, Prof GL Koul and MK Jalali.
Election Authority of HESK, Dr KN Pandita declared results of new body today evening.
Koul has earlier served as president All India Kashmiri Samaj (AIKS), New Delhi an apex body of KPs and he was actively involved in KPs struggle during last three decades and worked with various community organizations.
