Mortal remains of Sri 1008 Swami Purnanand Giri Ji consigned to Samadhi

JAMMU, Feb 3: Mortal remains of renowned saint, Sri 1008 Swami Purnanand Giri Ji were consigned to Samadhi with full honours and proper rituals at his Ashram in village Channu Chack.
The saint breathed his last on February 2, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, wisdom and devotion.
Thousands of devotees, disciples and dignitaries from various walks of life gathered to pay their last respects to the departed soul.
The occasion was marked by soulful devotional songs, sacred chants and heartfelt tributes, echoing the saint’s teachings of love, compassion and service to humanity.
BJP leader, R.L Kaith who remained in contact with Swami Purnanand Giri Ji for several years, mentioned that Swami’s life was a shining example of dedication to the Almighty and selfless public service.
