UDHAMPUR, Dec 3: Sudh Mahadev police recovered 22 more LPG cylinders from black-marketer taking the total recovery from his possession to 53.
As per police sources, during questioning of the shopkeeper, who was arrested yesterday along with 31 LPG cylinders, Sudh Mahadev police recovered 22 more LPG cylinders.
The total cylinders recovered from the possession of shopkeeper reached 53.
As reported, on specific information, police team from Sudh Mahadev police post conducted raid in a shop and recovered 18 filled and 13 empty LPG cylinders and arrested the shopkeeper for black marketing the LPG cylinders.
The accused has been identified as Ashok Kumar, son of Tirlok Chand, a resident of Sudh Mahadev.
A case under FIR Number 111/15 under Section 3/7 EC Act stands registered against the accused at police station Chenani and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge police post Sudh Mahadev Khyati Maan Khajuria made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Chenani police station Inspector Mahesh Sharma, SDPO Chenani Vinod Sharma, Additional SP Udhampur Mohan Lal Kaith and SSP Udhampur Suleman Choudhary.
