Moral degration

Sir,
India is a  a fast developing nation, which is soon going to be a global leader and an ideal for many countries. Now, people are also changed. They are no more ignorant and illiterate, the evils like sati and early marriage are gone. People are working day and night for name, fame and above all for money. Now, women  have equal rights that of men, they  no way stand behind men.During this course of transformation, we have lost one basic thing that is our morals and in the race of success people don’t have  time for their society , religious scriptures and even  for themselves.
All these things are due to degradation of our morals. We are giving education to our children to make them earn money, name and fame but are we making them good citizens? Are we giving them any sort of religious/moral knowledge? The answer is big NO. Even our religious leaders have less interest in delivering religious knowledge and are more interested in  politics. They can say anything and everything regarding politics but not few words about such issues . Moreover they organises  large gathering to sell their brands and to collect money but they will never show their interest in upliftment  of society from the evils , they will not show that what evils our society has and how they can be removed. Few other things that are degrading our society are alcohol, that no one want to talk about ,no religious knowledge for kids, insufficient recreational activities, less jobs and more pollution, as what we eat and drink has a direct bearing  on our body and mind. Time has come that we wake up and do something good for the citizens.
Yours etc.,…..
