JAMMU, July 5: Prof Bhim Singh, chief patron NPP today expressed deep shock on the alleged unplanned visit of Prime Minister Modi to Jammu and Kashmir ignoring the most burning issues of Jammu migrants, Pak and PoK Refugees with whom BJP had been making false promises to deliver them justice.
“It is equally shocking that Narendra Modi dared not mention the name of Jammu Migrants, Talwara Migrants, PoK and Pak Refugees who had voted for him in the past elections blindly hoping that Mr Modi shall redress their problems,” he said while addressing a press conference, here today.
Further lambasting the PM, Prof Singh said Modi had proposed a national level discussion on Article 370 during his speech at Jammu during election campaign but he forgot to mention Article 370 or even the name of Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee at Katra visit.
“The Prime Minister also failed to mention the rehabilitation plan of the Kashmiri Pandit Migrants, future of Jammu Poonch Rail link, etc and he did not utter even a word in appreciation of the Army and ex-Army Jawans during his Katra speech,” Bhim Singh added.
Stating that flagging off a train from Katra to Udhampur was not an anti-climax account but anti-thesis also, Mr Singh pointed out that the PM should have flagged off train to Katra from Udhampur and not from Katra to Udhampur which shows Modi’s dislikes for Udhampur only because Udhampur MLA belongs to Panthers Party.
On the occasion, Prof Bhim Singh also informed that the Delegate Session of JKNPP shall be held on July 6 at Brahmin Sabha, Parade Ground, Jammu. “The Agenda for Reorganization of Jammu & Kashmir shall be placed before the party workers,” he added.
