Modi’s visit: CK Nayudu cricket match between J&K, Hyderabad shifted

SRINAGAR: The four-day Col CK Nayudu trophy match between Jammu & Kashmir and Hyderabad has been shifted from SK Cricket Stadium here to Hyderabad following public rally of Prime Minister Narindera Modi at the stadium on November 7. Officials of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) told reporters that the match between Jammu & Kashmir and Hyderabad was scheduled to be played on November 7 at the stadium, but the Prime Minister will address a public rally in the same venue on the same day. They said they have received a communique from Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) that the venue of the match has been shifted to Hyderabad from here following the PM’s rally. “This was the last match of any national tournament of the session being played in Kashmir. After November 15, no match will played here due to cold weather conditions”, the officials said. (AGENCIES)
