KATRA, June 6: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today praised Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) as he referred to foundation stone laying ceremony of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Institute of Medical Excellence by him among other projects from Katra today.

“I congratulate SMVDSB and its Chairman LG Manoj Sinha as Reasi is going to get its first Medical College enhancing healthcare facilities for the region,” Modi said.
He congratulated the SMVDSB for its dedicated efforts in the noble endeavour and announced that the hospital’s capacity would be expanded from 300 to 500 beds, further improving medical services.
The Prime Minister noted that this development would provide greater convenience to the devotees visiting Mata Vaishno Devi in Katra.
