KATHUA, Sept 19: MLA Jasrota, Rajiv Jasrotia, demonstrated his commitment to the welfare of his constituents by visiting flood-affected areas of Jasrota constituency including Plah Mode , Punjawari , Bhed Blode , Kadyar , Ghatti villages. The MLA distributed ration to the affected families and listened to their grievances, providing them with much-needed support and relief.
Prominent among those who accompanied MLA Jasrotia included DDC Barnoti, Sushma Devi, Sarpanchs Bholi Singh, Naseeb Singh, Naib Sarpanch Joginder, Capt (retd) Jagdish ,Capt (retd) Omkar Singh , Prem Singh ,Vidya Sagar district vice president, Anil Singh district vice president, Kulbir Singh and Manik Gupta.

Jasrotia speaking on the occasion said that in this hour of crisis, from the very first day, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has spoken to the Lieutenant Governor and Chief Minister of the UT and the Government of India has put in all its strength in the rescue efforts. He said that the Union Territory and all agencies together have significantly reduced potential damage, and through coordinated efforts, we have successfully saved many lives. He reiterated that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, the Central Government stands firmly with the people of Jammu & Kashmir, providing prompt relief, financial assistance, and technical support to facilitate recovery and reconstruction, while ensuring the safety and well-being of affected communities.
Jasrotia assured that PM Modi Government is fully committed to not only restoring the damaged infrastructure but also the complete rehabilitation of affected families.
