NEW DELHI, Nov 13: Kashmiri Pandits Organisations Alliance (KPOA) an amalgam of 22 KP bodies across the country while expressing its satisfaction over the fulfillment of various promises by Narendra Modi Government including abrogation of Article 370 and 35 A from erstwhile J&K State and construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya has said the rehabilitation of displaced Pandits which was also on top of the agenda of BJP needs to be fulfilled also so that exiled Pandits from Valley who are leading a refugees life in their own country will get justice.
KPOA, which met here today has urged Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and Home Minister, Amit Shah to take concrete steps for resettlement of Kashmiri Pandits in Valley as per their aspirations.
KPOA said that besides rehabilitation of the Pandits with honour and dignity in the Valley the GoI should also pay compensation for the losses suffered by the community during 30 years of exile. It demanded that Centre should declare the policy about honorable and dignified return &rehabilitation for KPs and punish the forces responsible for their genocide and radicalization in Valley to provide justice to the community.
The Alliance also appealed the community to remain united at this crucial juncture and stated that no return formula will be acceptable to it, till the community will be taken into confidence and return module discussed with it.
