JAMMU, Feb 10: BJP leader and MLA Jammu West, Arvind Gupta today emphasized that the Government at the Centre is prioritizing developmental projects to enhance the quality of life for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The MLA was conducting an inspection of the ongoing repair work of the Nallah at Poonch House.
During the inspection, he also interacted with local residents and assured them that infrastructural issues, long neglected by previous governments nearly 60 years, are now being systematically addressed under the BJP-led Administration.
Speaking on the occasion, Arvind said, “The BJP believes in action, not empty rhetoric. The repair and upgradation of this Nallah will prevent water logging, improve sanitation and provide a healthier environment for the residents. The Modi Government is working relentlessly to ensure people get the basic amenities they deserve.”
He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing a new era of development, with massive improvements in roads, drainage, water supply and urban infrastructure.
“The double-engine Government of BJP is committed to holistic growth and will leave no stone unturned in resolving long-standing civic issues,” he said.
Arvind also directed the concerned officials and engineers to expedite the repair work while maintaining high-quality standards and stressed the importance of timely completion of projects to avoid inconvenience to the public.
He assured continuous monitoring of the project and reiterated that BJP remains steadfast in its mission to create a progressive, modern and well-developed Jammu and Kashmir.
