JAMMU, Mar 15: Two days Disaster Management Awareness and Mock Drill Program was successfully conducted at Government Girls High School , Johnu Zone Jib Udhampur. The event was organized by SDRF/Civil Defence unit, Udhampur under the supervision of Dy. Controller Civil Defence Udhampur Anu Sharma and witnessed enthusiastic participation from 120 students and staff members.
During the program ,participants were educated on crucial disaster preparedness measures.
The primary objective of the program was to equip students with life-saving skills and knowledge to respond effectively to both natural and man-made calamities.
Speaking on the occasion, Dy Controller Civil Defence Udhampur emphasized the importance of disaster preparedness and the need for community participation in emergency response efforts. He also expressed gratitude to all participants for their active involvement in the program.
This initiative reflects the commitment of Civil Defence Udhampur towards fostering a culture of safety, resilience, and disaster readiness among youth.
