UDHAMPUR, Oct 1: Udhampur Police has arrested a mobile phone snatcher and recovered the hand phone set, which he had snatched from a lady.
The arrested accused has been identified as Mohd Sadiq, son of Karim Ali of Battal Ballian, Udhampur.
As per the complaint lodged by one Umesh Kumari, wife of Manawar, resident of Rathian, Udhampur, the accused restrained her, snatched her mobile phone and fled away from the spot.
Accordingly, a case FIR No 363/2021 U/S 382 was registered in the records of PS Udhampur. During the course of investigation, the Police team of PS Udhampur, led by SHO Chaman Gorka succeeded in arresting the accused person and also recovered the mobile phone from his possession.
