ANANTNAG, Feb 15: The Mushtaq Manorial Trust (MMT), J&K today commemorated the anniversary (Urs) of noted Islamic scholar Late Molana Mushtaq Ahmad Khan at the historic shrine of Seer Hamadan in Anantnag.
The commemorative gathering was attended by religious scholars, community leaders, students and devotees from various parts of Kashmir.
Special prayers, recitation of the Holy Qur’an and discourses highlighting the life, teachings and spiritual contributions of the late scholar were held on the occasion.
Speakers paid tribute to Khan, recalling his role in promoting Islamic education, social reform and community welfare in J&K.
They stressed the importance of following his teachings centred on unity, moral integrity, compassion and service to humanity.
Members of the Trust said that they are devoted to carrying forward the mission and vision of the late scholar through educational initiatives, charitable activities and youth guidance programmes.
