SRINAGAR, Aug 30: Sheh-naz Ganai, Member Legislative Council, called on Governor N N Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today.
Ganai shared her views about the obtaining situation and the hardships being faced by people. The Governor stressed the crucial importance of urgent restoration of peace and normalcy and urged Ganai to vigorously continue her initiatives in this regard.
Sunil Arora, Advisor Prasar Bharati also met Governor.
The Governor and Arora, who is a former Union Secretary Information and Broadcasting Ministry, discussed the vital role of print and electronic media in spreading information and awareness of important matters and, in such process contributing towards the evolution of a well informed, strong and valuable civil society.
